Upcoming Events at Christ the Redeemer Reformed Church
At Christ the Redeemer Reformed Church, we believe in fostering community and spiritual growth through engaging events. Whether you are a long-time member or a newcomer, there are plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and grow in faith. This blog post will outline some of the exciting upcoming events that you won't want to miss.
Weekly Worship Services
Our weekly worship services are the cornerstone of our church community. Held every Sunday at 10:00 AM, these services provide a space for worship, reflection, and fellowship. Each service features uplifting music, inspiring sermons, and a chance to connect with fellow congregants.
Special Themes
In the coming months, we will introduce special themes for our worship services. These themes will focus on various aspects of faith and community, allowing for deeper exploration and understanding. For example, one Sunday might focus on gratitude, while another may center around forgiveness.
Guest Speakers
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting several guest speakers throughout the year. These individuals will share their insights and experiences, enriching our understanding of faith and its application in everyday life. Keep an eye on our church bulletin for updates on who will be speaking!
Community Bible Study
Join us every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM for our Community Bible Study. This is a wonderful opportunity to delve deeper into Scripture and engage in meaningful discussions with fellow church members.
Study Topics
Each month, we will focus on a different book of the Bible or a specific theme. For instance, in January, we will explore the Book of James, discussing its teachings on faith and works. In February, our focus will shift to the theme of love, examining how it is portrayed throughout the Bible.
Group Dynamics
Our Bible study groups are designed to be inclusive and welcoming. Whether you are a seasoned Bible scholar or new to the faith, you will find a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, and insights are shared.
Family Fun Day
Mark your calendars for our Family Fun Day on Saturday, March 15th! This event is designed for families of all shapes and sizes, offering a day filled with activities, games, and fellowship.
Activities for All Ages
Bounce House: Kids can enjoy hours of fun in our inflatable bounce house.
Craft Stations: Creative minds can explore various craft stations, making keepsakes to take home.
Outdoor Games: Families can participate in relay races, tug-of-war, and more.
Food and Fellowship
No event is complete without food! We will have a potluck lunch, so please bring a dish to share. This is a great opportunity to connect with other families and build lasting friendships.
Volunteer Opportunities
At Christ the Redeemer Reformed Church, we believe in serving our community. There are numerous volunteer opportunities available for those looking to get involved.
Service Projects
Throughout the year, we organize various service projects, including food drives, community clean-ups, and outreach programs. These projects not only benefit those in need but also strengthen our church community.
Ministry Teams
We encourage members to join one of our ministry teams, such as the hospitality team, youth ministry, or worship team. Each team plays a vital role in the life of our church, and your unique gifts and talents can make a significant impact.
Annual Retreat
Every year, we host an annual retreat designed to provide spiritual renewal and growth. This year’s retreat will take place from April 20th to April 22nd at a beautiful retreat center in the mountains.
Retreat Activities
Participants can look forward to:
Workshops: Led by experienced facilitators, these workshops will cover topics such as prayer, meditation, and spiritual growth.
Nature Walks: Enjoy the beauty of creation with guided nature walks that encourage reflection and connection with God.
Worship Sessions: Each day will include worship sessions that foster a sense of community and spiritual rejuvenation.

Easter Celebration
Join us for our Easter celebration on April 9th. This event will include a sunrise service, followed by a festive breakfast and an Easter egg hunt for the children. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the resurrection of Christ with family and friends.
Thanksgiving Service
In November, we will hold a special Thanksgiving service where we will reflect on our blessings and give thanks as a community. This service will be followed by a potluck dinner, allowing us to share a meal together and express gratitude for the abundance in our lives.
